Proposal Strategist – Proposal Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Proposal Strategist/Writer is responsible for managing proposals of high complexity.

• This role collaborates closely with leadership across Liviniti to craft tailored responses to RFx documents that set Liviniti apart in the marketplace, while generating strategic content that meets client needs.

• The individual will carry out the complete range of activities necessary to develop a strategic and compliant proposal that aligns with client specifications and Liviniti’s branding standards.

• Provides leadership and direction for the proposal response, involving various subject matter experts and senior leaders to articulate solutions that meet proposal requirements and client expectations.

• Develops new proposal content by engaging with subject matter experts or utilizing reference materials.

• Edits proposal language to ensure adherence to proposal specifications and integrates strategic win themes or solutions into the document.

• Conducts comprehensive compliance reviews and quality checks on drafts and the final proposal version.

• Establishes a proposal calendar and project plan to ensure timely progress on the proposal.

• Offers updates on proposal health to leadership during the proposal development process, ensuring milestones are achieved.

• Organizes, coordinates, and takes part in color team reviews to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and client needs.

• Utilizes proposal management tools to effectively engage and communicate with key stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Analyzes compliance-driven and technical documentation to ascertain customer needs and understand complex issues within the PBM industry.

• Formats responses into a professional template that aligns with Liviniti's branding guidelines.

• Engages in proposal kick-off meetings and leads discussions on any areas of concern.

• Reviews and refines content while coordinating with senior leaders to ensure the precision of revisions.

• Submits proposals by the designated due date, organizing the submission process; proactively identifies, communicates, and formulates risk mitigation strategies to support revenue-generating proposals for Southern Scripts.

• Complies with all HIPAA obligations related to Protected Health Information (PHI).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in competitive proposal writing within a PBM, healthcare, or managed care setting.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.

• Experience in proposal writing for PBM or health plans is essential.

• Strong organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, matrix environment.

• Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus.

• Outstanding writing and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and operate effectively in a remote work setting.

• Capability to analyze documentation to ascertain client requirements and sales strategies, translating this information into persuasive language.

• Willingness to adapt to new, technology-driven tools such as proposal management software, online procurement systems, and SharePoint Online.
