This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop quotes for protocols, bid requests, study modifications, and additions utilizing company pricing tools.
• Conduct budget-to-actual reconciliations at specified intervals during awarded studies.
• Provide assistance with recommendations for preferred proposals based on financial and operational criteria.
• Collaborate with Business Development Directors to ensure clinical study quotes meet client requirements.
• Coordinate and streamline the quotation process with staff and partner laboratories.
• Aid in tracking proposals.
• Update Salesforce and maintain precise departmental records.
• Handle low- to medium-complexity opportunities as needed by the business unit or team.
• Shadow or support senior colleagues on medium- to high-complexity opportunities as necessary.
• Engage in Business Operations departmental initiatives.
• Assist with generating departmental reports.
• Provide backup support for other departmental functions.
• Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science, business, or marketing-related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical, clinical research, or healthcare setting.
• Experience in a proposals role or a closely related position is preferred.
• Proficient in performing calculations and managing budgets.
• Capacity to apply mathematical principles to clinical trial budget management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Quick aptitude for learning new database software.
• Ability to read and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and clinical research protocols.
• Proficient in writing reports and business correspondence.
• Capable of presenting information and addressing questions from colleagues and clients.
• Skilled in solving practical problems with limited standardization.
• Competent in interpreting written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule-based instructions.
• Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint is preferred.
• Ability to engage in prolonged sitting and computer work.
• Effective communication skills via phone, video, and email.
