This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Clarify the state laws, administrative procedures, and compliance requirements related to property tax protests.

• Provide guidance on local variations and requirements for major counties across New Jersey.

• Advise us on the appropriate timing and methods for filing petitions (including TRIM notices, deadlines, evidence, etc.), covering both online and paper submission requirements.

• Offer insights and best practices for preparing for and navigating protest hearings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess direct experience within New Jersey’s property tax landscape, whether through personal practice, as part of a firm, or within local government.

• Have a thorough understanding of county-specific processes, deadlines, and regulations, especially in the five largest counties in New Jersey.

• Be an innovative thinker, capable of discovering new strategies while strictly following local guidelines.

• Be available to consult with our team on an as-needed basis, hourly, via phone or Zoom.
