This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Aids clients in submitting claims to carriers, offering guidance on emergency service management and the initial claim documentation process.
• Evaluate and recommend additional resources such as restoration firms, engineering consultants, or claim preparation services to clients.
• Assist clients in managing their cash flow by advocating for early advance payments and ongoing partial payments as requested.
• Anticipate potential challenges throughout the process and communicate these to both the client and the adjustment team.
• Offer advice and insights regarding carrier coverage positions.
• Advocate on behalf of the client when faced with unfavorable coverage positions.
• Oversee client claims to facilitate timely and equitable settlements through appropriate follow-up and negotiation techniques.
• Provide updates to the Risk Solutions placement team regarding client claim statuses when requested.
• Give feedback to the placement team concerning any identified coverage issues or concerns.
• Create Service Plans for claims management tailored to client requirements.
• Contribute to the Practice's growth through personal input, mentoring and coaching junior team members, and sharing success stories with the internal team and clients as appropriate.
• Offer support and assistance for new business development and RFPs.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, independent adjusters, and vendors for the benefit of our clients.
• Stay informed on changes within the marketplace.
• Participate in required training sessions, courses, etc., to maintain up-to-date skills and uphold your broker’s license.
• Ensure confidentiality of processed information is upheld.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in areas such as Business, Risk Management, or equivalent experience of 8-10 years in the insurance field.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain the requisite state broker's licenses.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment to complete tasks accurately with minimal errors; must have strong critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and function well within a team environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Skill in leading client and/or market discussions effectively.
• Strong listening skills.
• Proficient in using personal computers, including data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
• Competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
