Property Desk Loss Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of both domestic and commercial property claims of diverse complexity and value.

• Analyze and apply policy coverage, terms, and conditions to assess liability and determine settlements.

• Investigate property damages, pinpointing root causes and the necessary remedial measures.

• Evaluate claims related to fire, flood, subsidence, heave, landslip, and other insured events.

• Examine contractors' estimates, repair scopes, and technical documentation.

• Negotiate reasonable and cost-effective settlements with all involved parties.

• Recognize recovery opportunities and pursue subrogation when suitable.

• Conduct investigative interviews and collect supporting evidence to validate claims.

• Deliver expert advice and support to customers, clients, and colleagues.

• Ensure all claims files are accurately maintained and managed in accordance with service standards and regulatory requirements.

• Continuously seek innovative solutions that yield the best outcomes for both customers and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in insurance claims or loss adjusting.

• Strong understanding of domestic and commercial property claims.

• Excellent skills in investigation, negotiation, and problem-solving.

• Ability to clearly and confidently communicate technical information.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage competing priorities.

• A resilient and adaptable mindset in a dynamic environment.
