This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee and assist a team of property claims adjusters dealing with various levels of claim complexity.
β’ Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical support to foster adjuster growth and enhance performance.
β’ Conduct performance assessments, training workshops, and continuous feedback conversations.
β’ Aid in recruitment, onboarding, and the equitable distribution of workload within the claims team.
β’ Supervise claims handling processes to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
β’ Evaluate high-exposure or intricate property claims and offer strategic guidance for resolution.
β’ Authorize claim settlements within designated authority limits.
β’ Ensure proper reserve allocation, claim documentation, and investigative procedures.
β’ Track operational performance indicators, including claim cycle duration, quality assurance outcomes, and productivity metrics.
β’ Recognize opportunities for operational enhancements and apply best practices throughout the claims team.
β’ Assist leadership with reporting and insights on property claims operations performance.
β’ Act as a liaison for clients regarding claim performance, service delivery, and operational issues.
β’ Engage in client meetings to provide updates on claim trends, outcomes, and performance statistics.
β’ Collaborate with vendors, contractors, engineers, and other specialists involved in property claim investigations and repairs.
β’ Ensure claims are processed in compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and client service agreements.
β’ Support internal audits, quality assurance evaluations, and operational compliance efforts.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in property claims management.
β’ Adjuster licensing as mandated by jurisdiction.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of property claims investigation, evaluation, and settlement processes.
β’ Experience with complex or high-value property claims is preferred.
β’ Outstanding leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
β’ Familiarity with Xactimate is preferred.
β’ Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
β’ Experience in managing commercial or large-loss property claims is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of property estimating tools and vendor repair networks is preferred.
β’ Industry certifications such as AIC, CPCU, or equivalent are preferred.
