• Primary point of contact for clients regarding assigned cases.
• Up-to-date understanding of all applicable State and Federal laws.
• Thorough review of all cases to identify legal theories related to subrogation or rights of recovery.
• Dispatching appropriate correspondence for all new developments.
• Knowledge and application of correct file handling procedures consistent with Best Practices, Compliance, and Quality Assurance standards.
• Keep current documentation of claim status as well as any pending litigation related to the tort claim or its derivatives in every circumstance.
• Maximize recovery value on all cases using advanced negotiation strategies.
• Generate settlement screens for all resolved cases in line with Best Practices for File Handling.
• Draft or produce any necessary settlement documents required to finalize payments on cases and close them.
• Ensure clients are regularly informed about the progress of each claim.
• One or more valid law licenses.
• At least one year of experience in the insurance sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of tort law and civil procedure.
• Capability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to professionally represent Trover Solutions’ clients in settlement negotiations and meetings.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High motivation and commitment to maximizing outcomes for Trover Solutions clients.
• Creativity in developing arguments to enhance recovery results.
