This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Manage a specific portfolio of properties, acting as the main point of contact for those homes, which includes direct communication with owners and proactive resolution of issues.
• Perform regular inspections of the assigned properties prior to guest and owner arrivals to ensure that each home adheres to Company standards.
• Collaborate with regional leadership and Local Operations Managers to guarantee that assigned properties are guest-ready, well-maintained, and consistent with Company standards.
• Continue to provide support services throughout the San Luis Obispo area concerning maintenance tasks, including responding to work orders, inspecting properties, and coordinating with vendors as necessary.
• Execute routine and basic maintenance activities, such as troubleshooting appliances, cable, and Wi-Fi, performing light plumbing, providing basic HVAC support, and conducting general home repairs.
• Evaluate vendor work quality and escalate larger repair needs through the appropriate channels.
• Assist the team by addressing escalated concerns from guests and homeowners via calls, emails, and ticketing systems, as well as offering cross-coverage when needed.
• Record issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions in Company systems to ensure a smooth transition for the next person on shift.
• Work collaboratively with regional team members and leadership, help with housekeeping tasks when necessary, and comply with all company policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Uphold Company standards and key performance indicators such as NPS, unit appearance, and operational efficiency.
• Previous experience in property management, vacation rentals, hospitality operations, facilities, or a hands-on maintenance role.
• Comfortable with light maintenance tasks including appliance and Wi-Fi/cable troubleshooting, minor plumbing, basic HVAC checks, and general home repairs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; professionalism in email, phone, video, and text interactions.
• Technically adept across laptops, tablets, and mobile devices; ability to quickly learn property management and ticketing systems.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to switch tasks frequently while maintaining productivity.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for travel between properties.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or vacation rentals is preferred.
• Familiarity with the San Luis Obispo market and local vendor network is preferred.
• Trade or technical training (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is a plus and preferred.
