This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Provides guidance and leadership to a team of claims adjusters responsible for overseeing property, automobile, and liability claims from initial assessment through final resolution.
• Manage policy interpretation and coverage determinations related to loss, damage, or injury, ensuring that claims are investigated, assessed, and resolved in an efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
• Responsible for supervising adjusters managing large Self-Insured Retention (SIR) accounts while ensuring timely and precise evaluation of loss exposure, reserving practices, and settlement strategies.
• Ensures that developments in claims, evaluations of exposure, and strategic recommendations are thoroughly documented and clearly communicated to clients to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Minimum of three years of experience in Automobile Supervision is required.
• Familiarity with claims handling concepts, practices, and techniques, including but not limited to coverage issues, litigation management, and product line knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; alternatively, seven (7) years of related auto and general liability experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
• Must possess NY Auto, BI & General Liability claims experience, along with a NY Adjuster's license.
• Certifications and/or licenses as mandated by State regulations are required.
