This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Generate premium quotes and issue insurance contracts.
• Evaluate the unique needs of each member and client.
• Assist clients in selecting suitable insurance coverage.
• Advocate for tailored insurance services.
• Monitor and follow up on case files.
• Review renewals that necessitate specialized underwriting.
• Amend contracts as required.
• Handle First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls from clients following accidents or property damage.
• Evaluate clients’ mental and physical well-being and respond appropriately.
• Document comprehensive loss details to create claims files for Claims Advisors.
• Provide reassurance to clients during challenging times.
• College diploma is preferred.
• At least two years of strong experience in client service.
• Alternative combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be taken into account.
• Proficiency in assessing client needs and recommending suitable insurance coverage.
• Capability to analyze renewals that require specialized underwriting.
• Active listening skills coupled with an analytical and probing approach for claims reporting.
• Ability to accurately document detailed loss information.
• Capacity to respond with compassion, empathy, and a calm demeanor.
