Project Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assume full responsibility for implementing equipment setup, performance, and outcomes during site trials of equipment and technologies.

• Take personal accountability for ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address customer field service requirements.

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on-site.

• Keep a daily Field Service Project Log to gather data for ongoing improvement.

• Contribute to continuous development and cost reduction initiatives by providing feedback and insights gained.

• Participate in the project planning phase alongside the Regional and Sales Project Management teams to guarantee a seamless startup and execution of blast projects.

• Engage in effective and professional communication with customers during both the project planning and on-site phases.

• Manage evolving customer and project scope requirements.

• Train clients on the safe, efficient, and productive use of equipment utilized in industrial coatings projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in leading blast and coating projects.

• Proficient in estimating, budgeting, and cost control for blast and paint projects.

• An associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.

• Must be able to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical engineering design and assembly drawings.

• Strong understanding of and adherence to site safety policies and procedures is essential.

• Must exhibit strong leadership skills and effectively manage customer perceptions on-site, ranging from blasters to foremen to owners.

• Capability to resolve conflicts effectively is required.

• Must demonstrate excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities.

• A high sense of urgency and the ability to "get it done" on-site are necessary.

• Must show proficiency in communicating effectively at all organizational levels.

• A solid understanding of basic computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc., is required.

• Strong attention to detail is a must.

• Excellent task and time management skills are essential.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including weekends at customer sites as needed.

• Preferred experience across a diverse range of industries, such as Oil and Gas, Large Shipyards, Water Storage, and Steel Fabrication.
