Project Support Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the execution of equipment setup, performance, and results during site trials of equipment and technologies.

• Take personal accountability for ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis to address customer field service requirements.

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on-site.

• Maintain a daily Field Service Project Log on-site to gather data for ongoing improvement.

• Contribute to continuous development and cost reduction initiatives by providing feedback and lessons learned.

• Participate in the planning phase of projects in collaboration with the Regional and Sales Project Management teams to facilitate a seamless startup and execution of blast projects.

• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers during both the project planning and on-site execution phases.

• Manage evolving customer and project scope requirements.

• Train clients on the efficient, safe, and productive use of equipment utilized in industrial coatings projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading blast and coating projects.

• Proven experience in estimating, budgeting, and cost control for blast and paint projects.

• An associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred.

• Must demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical engineering design and assembly drawings.

• A solid understanding and appreciation of site safety policies and procedures is essential.

• Strong leadership skills are required, with the ability to manage customer perspectives on-site, from blasters to foremen and owners.

• Capable of effectively resolving conflicts.

• Must exhibit excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities.

• A high sense of urgency and the capacity to "get it done" on-site are necessary.

• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills at all levels.

• Proficiency in basic computer systems: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc., is required.

• Strong attention to detail is a must.

• Excellent task and time management skills are essential.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including being on customer sites during weekends as needed.

• Preferred experience across a diverse range of industries, including Oil and Gas, Large Shipyards, Water Storage, and Steel Fabrication.
