This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with the Epsilon team on projects related to environmental licensing, permitting, and compliance.
• Manage projects effectively.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Support community sound level measurement initiatives.
• Carry out meteorological data gathering, data analysis, shadow flicker assessments for wind turbines, sound level modeling, and the preparation of reports.
• Engage in occasional fieldwork and travel overnight, potentially out of state.
• 3-7+ years of experience in a consulting setting.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental or Physical Sciences, or Physics.
• Proficient in the use of sound level measurement and meteorological instruments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9613-2 sound modeling software (such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess a valid driver’s license to operate a vehicle for business-related travel.
