• Evaluate potential suppliers based on their quality capabilities, production capacity, and adherence to company standards.
• Engage in on-site audits at supplier locations to confirm quality control processes.
• Work alongside suppliers to pinpoint and execute process enhancements.
• Keep comprehensive records of supplier quality performance.
• Collaborate proactively with purchasing and engineering teams to address supplier quality issues.
• Conduct project execution activities with a focus on quality control related to procurement activities.
• Offer technical advice to suppliers to ensure compliance with product and process standards.
• Implement a supplier quality surveillance program for monitoring supplier activities.
• Draft and evaluate technical quality documents, plans, and procedures.
• Aid in future error prevention by utilizing corrective action processes.
• An associate degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with over 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, manufacturing support, or nuclear quality assurance.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance systems.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, IPC, NEMA, and ANSI.
• Understanding of analog and digital control systems, including microprocessors and controls.
• Comprehension of the Instrument & Controls safety system lifecycle, encompassing high-integrity software-based protection and safety control systems.
• Experience in PLC programming, system integration, SCADA configuration, and software testing.
• Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with suppliers.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English.
