This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive pre-construction and construction schedules that align with key tender stage requirements, coordinating with relevant operations teams to ensure the feasibility of the project.

• In collaboration with Operational teams, oversee and maintain detailed pre-construction and construction schedules, ensuring that projects achieve critical milestones.

• Provide regular program updates to Operations and Commercial managers in accordance with contractual obligations.

• Evaluate and report on risks and delays, integrating them into the project timeline.

• Communicate with on-site operations teams to comprehend resource profiles and productivity assumptions.

• Identify and manage the critical path of schedules, collaborating with the broader team to mitigate delays.

• Work closely with quantity surveyors and commercial teams to ensure consistency with the program for commercial forecasting.

• Own, update, and facilitate the resolution of Risk & Issue logs.

• Conduct program review meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Recognize and implement efficiencies and enhancements in both internal and external processes.

• Ensure that program submissions adhere to contractual standards.

• Foster strong client relationships, professionally representing the company brand.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Programme Planner within the construction sector.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project (mandatory) and other Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Strong skills in data analysis and interrogation.

• Thorough understanding of project management principles and risk management strategies.

• Experience with bidding and tendering processes.

• Leadership experience with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management).

• Comprehensive knowledge of construction industry practices and terminology.

• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.

• Self-driven with a proactive work approach.

• Valid UK driving license and readiness to travel to regional sites.

• Flexibility to learn and utilize various client tools and reporting systems.
