Project Manager, Web Solutions – Contract Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects from initiation to completion while acting as the main point of contact for clients.

• Develop, manage, and modify project plans, budgets, and timelines as necessary.

• Coordinate teams across various functions and conduct efficient meetings with well-defined agendas and follow-ups.

• Provide regular updates on project status to clients.

• Handle changes in scope, risks, and issues; prepare and present change orders when required.

• Strategically assign tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Assist in defining problems and ensure that outcomes and success metrics are clearly visible.

• Identify tasks that do not contribute to desired outcomes, suggesting de-scoping or reconfiguration as necessary.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, and planning documents as needed.

• Keep decision logs and documentation up to date.

• Conduct project retrospectives and provide recommendations for future actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in client-facing digital project management within an agency or similar setting.

• Proven experience in leading large and complex website projects.

• Familiarity with projects involving Drupal and/or WordPress.

• Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Basecamp, Kantata, or comparable software.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Skill in synthesizing inputs into clear options, insights, and actionable next steps.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting plans based on new information.

• Capable of diplomatically challenging ideas and clearly articulating trade-offs.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.
