Project Manager – Technical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects that align with organizational goals, client expectations, and quality standards.

• Define the scope, deliverables, tasks, timelines, and charters for projects.

• Create detailed project plans using MS Project and Excel.

• Monitor progress against established plans and modify timelines and resources as necessary.

• Ensure high-quality outcomes and manage project closure activities, including documentation, postmortems, and reflections on lessons learned.

• Allocate tasks, assign backup resources, mentor team members, and ensure the efficient use of both internal and external resources.

• Identify root causes of issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

• Act as the primary point of contact for project teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

• Provide project updates, facilitate meetings, and communicate progress, risks, and results effectively.

• Manage project-related Teams sites, PMO meetings, and documentation.

• Keep organized records of project communications and materials.

• Coordinate with external stakeholders, vendors, or partners as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, project management, or a related discipline.

• Required experience in delivering technology solutions within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, particularly in trade promotion management (TPM).

• 3–5 years of experience in managing technical client-facing projects within the CPG industry, ideally in a SaaS or technology setting.

• Proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders, project scope, resources, schedules, and communications.

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with hands-on experience using Jira and Microsoft Project.

• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in collaborating with technical teams, clients, and vendors.

• Must reside in the US, preferably in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic regions.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

• Project management certification such as PMP or CAPM is a plus.

• A Master’s degree in business, project management, or a related field is a plus.

• Experience managing projects in SaaS, technology, or client-facing consulting settings is a plus.
