Project Manager, Software Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee software development projects from inception to completion.

• Establish project objectives, scope, timelines, and priorities.

• Manage project plans, roadmaps, budgets, and delivery timelines.

• Track project progress and proactively identify potential risks and obstacles.

• Ensure open communication through regular updates and reports to clients.

• Coordinate efforts among clients, developers, designers, and other key stakeholders.

• Facilitate decision-making processes to keep projects on track.

• Assist clients in refining their ideas and aligning development initiatives with business objectives.

• Support the prioritization of the backlog and manage project scope.

• Ensure that delivered features add significant value to the product.

• Promote iterative delivery and scheduled releases.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing outcomes while adhering to a Lean approach in terms of scope and budget.

• Apply Agile methodologies in a practical manner, tailored to the client's needs, project specifics, and team dynamics.

• Facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies when they prove beneficial.

• Encourage continuous improvement and assist in eliminating delivery bottlenecks.

• Engage in discovery and presales discussions alongside senior developers.

• Assist in gathering requirements and understanding business challenges.

• Contribute to project estimations, scope definition, and solution planning.

• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery considerations prior to project initiation.

• Demonstrated experience in managing software development projects.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

• Experience working directly with clients.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery processes.

• Proficiency with Jira, Slack, and similar collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with modern software development processes and technology stacks.

• Capability to balance business objectives, timelines, budgets, and technical limitations.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
