This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Supervise projects or lead specific development work-streams for intricate energy and infrastructure initiatives.
• Manage development-phase projects or work-streams, primarily associated with Development Consent Order (DCO) or Developments of National Significance (DNS) projects.
• Coordinate inputs from planning, environmental, engineering, legal, and other specialized areas.
• Oversee programmes, budgets, risks, dependencies, and changes effectively.
• Ensure clear governance and report on progress regularly.
• Address and resolve project-related issues.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the consultancy through knowledge sharing, service enhancement, and client relations.
• At the Senior Project Manager level, assume greater responsibility for complex tasks, offer strategic advice to clients, and support the professional growth of colleagues.
• Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably within a multidisciplinary consultancy or a large-scale project setting.
• Background in overseeing the development phase or specific workstreams, ideally related to a DCO or DNS project.
• Understanding of the interplay between planning, consenting, environmental, and technical activities during project development.
• Ability to coordinate specialists across various disciplines, manage competing priorities, and maintain project momentum.
• Experience in managing project programmes, budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating detailed information into actionable advice and succinct reporting.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with confidence in working autonomously within a smaller consultancy.
• A relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
