This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the engagement lead for customer projects.
• Clearly communicate project roles and responsibilities to team members while planning, monitoring, evaluating, and reviewing project objectives.
• Enforce relevant policies and procedures for each project.
• Achieve operational goals by:
• Providing insights and recommendations for strategic plans and reviews.
• Preparing and finalizing action plans.
• Implementing standards for production, productivity, quality, and client service.
• Addressing and resolving issues.
• Identifying system enhancements.
• Facilitating change implementation.
• Meet financial targets by forecasting needs, quoting services, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective measures.
• Lead the delivery of cybersecurity projects focused on identity, access, and data protection, encompassing assessments, design, implementation, migration, remediation, and operationalization efforts.
• Enhance job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional literature, maintaining personal networks, and being active in professional organizations.
• Coordinate project execution among consultants, architects, engineers, customer stakeholders, and partner vendors to ensure quality delivery, achievement of milestones, and resolution of issues.
• Manage RAID logs, project dependencies, change control, decision tracking, and executive status reporting for security engagements.
• Facilitate client governance meetings, including kickoff sessions, status updates, risk reviews, steering committee updates, and acceptance/sign-off checkpoints.
• Ensure adherence to repeatable delivery standards, documentation requirements, evidence collection expectations, and quality gates throughout projects.
• Collaborate with technical leads to align delivery plans with security controls, testing, cutover, validation, and post-implementation support requirements.
• Oversee multiple concurrent security engagements and shared resources across pods or workstreams while ensuring compliance with schedule and risk governance.
• Enhance the reputation of the department and organization by taking ownership of new and varied requests while seeking opportunities to add value to job achievements.
• Develop budgets and monitor budget expenditures.
• Provide performance management feedback for project-aligned resources based on observations during projects.
• Appropriately staff projects and supervise team members.
• Manage team members effectively and proficiently.
• Encourage process improvement initiatives.
• Regularly pursue opportunities for professional self-development.
• 3-5 years of relevant project management and planning experience.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong capability to manage client expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in managing cybersecurity, IAM, or data security projects within consulting, professional services, or enterprise IT settings.
• Working knowledge of security delivery lifecycles, including assessment, design, implementation, testing, remediation, cutover, and transition to operations.
• Familiarity with identity security concepts such as IAM, IGA, PAM, MFA, SSO, federation, RBAC, SoD, service accounts, and secrets management.
• Understanding of data security concepts such as data discovery, classification, labeling, DSPM, DLP, retention, insider risk, and governance.
• Ability to manage technical and business stakeholders through decisions related to security risks, compliance, and controls.
• Experience in creating executive-ready status reports, action plans, issue escalations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Preferred qualifications: PMP, CSM, ITIL, Security+, CISSP familiarity, or comparable security/project delivery credentials.
