Project Manager, Salesforce Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the intake process for Sales Operations projects, including triage, prioritization assistance, and capacity-driven roadmap planning.

• Oversee the Salesforce and Sales Operations roadmap along with the portfolio dashboard.

• Evaluate the impact, effort, sequencing, and trade-offs of various initiatives through structured analysis and delivery data.

• Lead the weekly portfolio operating rhythm and prepare insightful updates for stakeholders and leadership.

• Manage cross-functional project execution across Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, and analytics initiatives.

• Create and maintain project plans based on scope, risk, velocity, and capacity expectations.

• Develop and oversee Jira epics, stories, sprint plans, and release schedules.

• Utilize Jira reporting to pinpoint trends and delivery risks.

• Keep RAID logs updated and track ownership, decisions, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate readiness for launches, UAT planning, stakeholder approvals, and post-launch adoption tracking.

• Leverage AI-driven tools to expedite project analysis, summarize status updates, and reveal delivery patterns.

• Assist in communication strategies, enablement readiness, and launch coordination.

• Collaborate with analytics teams to validate dashboards, reporting, and KPI definitions.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of delivery processes, templates, and operating practices.

• Identify and monitor corrective action plans when launches or adoption results are below expectations.

• Aid in documenting progress, decisions, and dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience.

• Preferred experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Salesforce delivery.

• Strong familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem; Sales Cloud experience is required.

• CPQ experience is strongly preferred.

• Capability to define metrics, analyze data, identify trends, and convert analysis into actionable steps.

• Advanced skills in Jira, including backlog management, sprint execution, and reporting.

• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating status, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations.

• Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams and foster accountability without direct authority.

• PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.

• Experience with quote-to-cash processes, operational KPIs, portfolio metrics, or adoption data is preferred.
