Associate Principal Consultant – Project Manager, Salesforce Workflow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete Salesforce project lifecycle, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Work in partnership with business stakeholders to outline project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and external vendors.

• Create and uphold project plans that cover resource allocation, budgets, risks, and issue management.

• Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Handle change requests, conduct impact analysis, and secure necessary approvals.

• Guarantee adherence to Salesforce best practices, governance, and security protocols.

• Provide updates on project status and executive-level reports detailing progress, risks, and dependencies.

• Promote user adoption through training, change management, and effective stakeholder communication.

• Serve as the point of escalation for project-related challenges.

• Assist with post-go-live hypercare, triage production defects, and manage enhancement requests through organized release management.

• Define SaaS and recurring revenue metrics alongside Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Finance, incorporating them into system reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of project management experience.

• Minimum of 5 years managing Salesforce projects.

• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ.

• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and aptitude for juggling competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency with JIRA, Asana, or MS Project is preferred.

• Knowledge of Salesforce integration tools like NetSuite is preferred.

• Experience with release management and DevOps tools such as Copado is preferred.

• Capability to manage vendor relationships and contracts.

• Salesforce certifications are preferred.

• Scrum Master or PMP certification is an advantage.
