Project Manager, Salesforce Portfolio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the intake process for Sales Operations initiatives, which includes triage, prioritization assistance, and roadmap planning based on capacity.

• Oversee the Salesforce and Sales Operations roadmap and portfolio dashboard, ensuring it reflects status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and throughput.

• Evaluate the impact, effort, sequencing, and tradeoffs among initiatives through structured analysis and delivery data.

• Facilitate the weekly portfolio operating rhythm and provide clear, insights-driven updates for stakeholders and leadership.

• Supervise cross-functional project execution across Salesforce, CPQ, CLM, and analytics initiatives.

• Create and uphold project plans that consider scope, risk, velocity, and capacity assumptions.

• Develop and manage Jira epics, stories, sprint plans, and release schedules; utilize Jira reporting to uncover trends and assess delivery risks.

• Organize launch readiness, UAT planning, stakeholder approvals, and post-launch adoption tracking.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management.

• Substantial experience with the Salesforce ecosystem; proficiency in Sales Cloud is required, while CPQ experience is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to define metrics, analyze data, recognize trends, and translate analysis into actionable strategies.

• Advanced proficiency with Jira, covering backlog management, sprint execution, and reporting functionalities.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project.

• Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.

• Experience with quote-to-cash processes, operational KPIs, portfolio metrics, or adoption data is preferred.
