Project Manager – Revenue Cycle Vendor Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee vendor management activities throughout the revenue cycle, encompassing onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding processes.

• Act as a point of escalation between revenue cycle operations and external vendors.

• Set and track vendor performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Discover opportunities for enhancing processes and optimizing costs related to vendor services.

• Assist in contract assessment, negotiation, and renewal processes alongside supply chain and legal departments.

• Create and uphold standardized procedures, tools, and reporting mechanisms for vendor oversight.

• Oversee project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables for vendor-centric initiatives.

• Compile executive-level summaries and presentations regarding vendor performance and strategic opportunities.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Work in conjunction with IT and operations teams on integration, automation, and system optimization efforts involving vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

• PMP - Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle.

• Proficiency in hospital patient accounting systems.

• Awareness of regulatory requirements and payer guidelines.

• Proven track record of leading complex projects in a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Excellent communication skills.
