This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Oversee and manage a variety of civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Lead by example, embodying our company's culture and core values.
• Assess required resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, while keeping budget constraints in mind throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure that the work meets quality standards and complies with specifications.
• Evaluate project progress and compile comprehensive reports.
• Schedule and coordinate projects to maximize efficiency and maintain quality.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding budget, scheduling, and quantity tracking.
• Ensure compliance with the budget and promptly make necessary adjustments to address unexpected challenges.
• Assist the superintendent in managing project requirements and labor, and support day-to-day field activities as necessary.
• Ensure that safety standards and protocols are strictly followed on-site and that all safety regulations are met during construction.
• Facilitate coordination and communication with the team regarding contract modifications and ensure compliance from all involved parties.
• Collaborate with clients, supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and engineers to address and resolve any issues.
• Manage and implement actions required due to delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies at construction sites.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key vendors and subcontractors.
• Conduct precise tracking of project and budget performance.
• Issue One Calls and ensure they are kept current.
• Confirm that all Submittals and RFIs for the project are submitted and monitored for compliance.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer on project specifications, Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Quantity Tracking.
• Oversee multiple crews/projects as required.
• Work closely with the Director of Project Management to provide updates on ongoing work and assist in strategic forecasting for active projects.
• Collaborate with the Director of Project Management to prepare and verify accurate monthly billing.
• Possess knowledge of Topcon/Trimble GPS.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil construction.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Procore is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to remain adaptable and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to make informed and swift decisions while working effectively under pressure and in response to unexpected occurrences or delays.
• Ability to multitask effectively while analyzing and resolving issues.
• Strong understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations.
• Team player with leadership skills.
• Comfortable with delegating tasks.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and participating in team communications.
