This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create a detailed project plan that encompasses project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.

• Offer leadership, guidance, and support throughout the lifecycle of the project.

• Recognize and manage project risks, formulating risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans as required.

• Track project expenditures, ensuring delivery within budgetary constraints and providing cost reports to internal stakeholders.

• Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders, informing them of project progress, issues, and risks.

• Ensure that project deliverables adhere to quality standards and that project goals are met to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

• Identify and engage with project stakeholders, managing their expectations and ensuring satisfaction with project results.

• Oversee changes to project scope, assessing their impact on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

• Spot opportunities for process enhancements and apply best practices in project management.

• Maintain thorough project documentation, including capacity planning, project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, ideally in technology, particularly in software or engineering sectors.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with project management software like Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.

• Understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum, along with knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Strong communication skills, with the capability to convert complex technical concepts into business requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven problem-solving capabilities, with a knack for identifying, analyzing, and addressing complex challenges through critical thinking, creativity, and informed decision-making, yielding effective and practical solutions.

• Ability to inspire the team by cultivating a positive, inclusive work culture, establishing clear goals and expectations, acknowledging achievements, and promoting collaboration to enhance performance and continuous improvement.

• Excellent organizational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks, managing multiple responsibilities, and adhering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• Project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP, is preferred.

• Over 4 years of experience in project management.
