Project Manager, Outpatient Specialty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the uniform application of OPSP policies for both Commercial and Government clients.

• Apply project management expertise to create and oversee project documents and presentations.

• Develop and maintain project status reports while conducting regular status meetings.

• Encourage effective teamwork, monitor lessons learned, and share insights among team members.

• Conduct analysis and monitoring of various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.

• Suggest and monitor enhancements to systems or processes.

• Examine trends and root causes of issues to pinpoint areas for process enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or nursing (with an active/unrestricted license).

• Required certification in Coding or Clinical Documentation, such as CCDS, CPC, CIC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare billing office or claims management position.

• Experience in areas like DRG Validation, APC/ASC Validation, and Outpatient Review Types is preferred.

• Previous Healthcare Billing and/or claims experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must possess a working knowledge of applicable industry standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and system databases is required.
