This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Comprehensive oversight and administration of projects, which includes setting project-specific goals and policies.
• Direct and guide subordinate managers and technical personnel, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and project guidelines.
• Act as the main point of contact between AECOM and client stakeholders, fostering robust relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Supervise all aspects of projects, from budgeting and scheduling to procurement, contract management, and project closeout.
• Oversee project scope, timeline, budget, staffing, and quality to ensure successful outcomes.
• Proactively identify and address project risks, ensuring the timely resolution of technical, contractual, and commercial challenges.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, promoting synergy among engineering, design, environmental, and construction disciplines.
• Hold regular project status meetings and generate detailed reports for clients and internal leadership.
• Propel business development by spotting new opportunities, engaging in proposal creation, and nurturing client relationships.
• Mentor, train, and manage project management personnel to build a high-performing, skilled team.
• Ensure adherence to relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as AECOM’s internal quality assurance and safety protocols.
• Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, invoicing, profit and loss accountability, and budget management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline; advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in project management within the infrastructure, construction engineering, or related fields.
• Proven success in managing medium to large-scale engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience overseeing multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Excellent client-facing skills with demonstrated experience in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
• Comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, contracts, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to infrastructure and construction projects.
• Experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and resolution of project claims and disputes.
• Proficient in project management software, MS Office Suite, and applicable engineering/design tools.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
