Project Manager – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee all assigned projects with assistance from the senior project manager, ensuring smooth progression and continuity throughout the execution and delivery phases.

• Facilitate client and stakeholder communication, including status updates, progress reports, and change requests, with the support of the senior project manager.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Graphic and Motion Design, Development, Learning Design) to ensure project delivery aligns with objectives.

• Track project progress against milestones, monitor deviations, and escalate any issues or blockers to the senior Project Manager or Head of Studio.

• Identify potential risks, dependencies, and blockers, escalating them to the Project Management team along with potential solutions for resolution.

• Create and maintain support documentation such as project briefs, risk logs, requirement specifications, and delivery reports.

• Deliver clear and accurate reporting through dashboards and project status updates.

• Assist the Project Management team in continuously enhancing project delivery practices and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–4 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in digital, ed-tech, consulting, or similar fields.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with various stakeholders and complex dependencies successfully.

• Strong technical background with a working understanding of accessibility and compatibility standards.

• Practical experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, or similar).

• Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills—capable of building trust, aligning teams, and driving accountability.

• Strong analytical mindset; ability to leverage data and metrics to inform decisions and reporting.

• Degree in a relevant field, ideally focused on project management.

• Must be eligible for employment in South Africa.

• Preferred: Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or foundational PMP knowledge).

• Experience in managing translation or localization projects.

• Familiarity with multi-stakeholder client environments or consulting delivery models.
