This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Oversee client engagements from initiation to conclusion or ongoing managed-service delivery.
• Tailor ELB Learning's production methodology to suit each specific engagement.
• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation within Planview.
• Track project advancement and modify schedules as necessary.
• Manage changes in scope and facilitate change management processes.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients on a daily basis.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, status calls, milestone reviews, and manage project communications.
• Establish trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication.
• Manage client expectations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Coordinate efforts of Instructional Design, Creative, Development, Quality Assurance, and Learning Strategy teams.
• Ensure that work flows smoothly across departments.
• Identify and eliminate obstacles to the project.
• Escalate risks and issues when deemed necessary.
• Monitor project finances, forecasts, and resource utilization.
• Detect financial risks and suggest corrective measures.
• Deliver projects within the approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Recognize and manage project risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies and oversee issue resolution.
• Ensure all necessary ID, Creative, Development, and QA reviews are completed prior to client delivery.
• Oversee the delivery of federal, state, local government, and educational contracts.
• Create and maintain integrated project schedules, Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Prepare monthly status reports and other contract-related deliverables.
• Monitor project funding and budget utilization.
• Assist with contract modifications and changes in scope.
• Lead customer status meetings and technical reviews with government stakeholders.
• Conduct onsite visits to government and military facilities as required.
• Maintain project documentation to meet audit and compliance standards.
• Keep accurate project documentation and reporting.
• Facilitate project retrospectives and wrap-up meetings.
• Propose and implement ongoing process improvements.
• Support the consistent application of ELB Learning's production management standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects or production within the learning and development sector.
• Working knowledge of instructional design principles and eLearning production processes.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proficient in project management software and collaboration tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects under U.S. Government contracts, either as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
• Proven track record in producing recurring government deliverables, such as monthly status reports, integrated schedules, and executive briefings.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling tools to develop and maintain Gantt charts.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to successfully undergo a federal background investigation.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including visits to client sites and military installations.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
• Preference for candidates located in Texas, New Mexico, or Oklahoma; strong applicants from other parts of the continental U.S. will also be considered.
• Active (or recently active) Secret Security Clearance or higher is preferred.
• Military service or prior experience as a U.S. Government civilian is preferred.
• Experience in supporting federal learning and development programs is preferred.
