📋 Description

• The Instructional Design Project Manager will be tasked with assessing the Learning needs and expectations of the Client for Independent Business-employed Client Support Professionals (CSPs) who will provide services to Client businesses.

• Identify the Learning needs of the Client for Independent Business-employed Client Support Professionals (CSPs).

• Acquire any existing Client curricula to potentially streamline the Instructional Design process.

• Offer thought leadership and guidance to Instructional Design Independent Businesses and contractors engaged in creating virtual instructor-led activities, blended eLearning solutions, simulations, animations, and other learning solutions to fulfill Client requirements.

• Work in collaboration with Clients to assess specific business requirements, corporate culture, infrastructure, and performance gaps prior to designing and developing a comprehensive, custom training solution aimed at improving performance.

• Manage projects involving Instructional Design Independent Businesses and contractors to implement the entire course development process, which includes designing and delivering solutions, executing project scope, validating business and technical requirements and parameters, and actively participating in quality assurance.

• Achieve project objectives as outlined in Client agreements and manage expectations effectively.

• Review and suggest modifications to a Client’s strategy to align with best practices utilized in our virtual delivery model.

• Partner with the Arise Certification Operations area to ensure all aspects of certification meet schedules, budget, and quality objectives. This includes new client launches and large-scale projects.

• Track and manage projects in a database as they are received from clients and internal teams.

• Create project plans, timelines, and objectives; set and meet financial targets by preparing a project budget; schedule and approve expenditures; analyze variances and initiate corrective measures as needed.

• Stay current with trends in the Instructional Design field by monitoring industry advancements, engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, and representing Arise within the industry.

• Collaborate with Instructional Design Independent Businesses and contractors to establish project agreements for each new initiative when necessary.

• Implement solutions by overseeing project progress, tracking action items, conducting design and implementation reviews, and identifying, researching, and resolving issues while escalating concerns with recommendations to the appropriate levels.

• Cultivate relationships with Clients by managing expectations, communicating project status, and addressing outstanding issues.

• Address Client concerns, prepare reports, conduct reviews, and lead Client meetings.

• Lead performance quality assessments of both new and existing Instructional content to ensure adherence to quality design standards as well as Arise standards.

• Complete post-production tasks (e.g., making recommendations for improvements, identifying work process enhancements, developing and coordinating project controls, and associated performance metrics to gauge success).

• Coordinate resources from Instructional Design Independent Businesses and contractors to ensure projects receive the appropriate amount of time, helping prioritize workload when projects conflict with other responsibilities or tasks. Additional duties may be assigned. This role does not manage internal Arise team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Training, Performance Improvement, or Client-facing consulting is essential.

• A Master’s degree in ISD, Training, Adult Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Performance Improvement, along with certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or a similar professional organization, is considered an advantage.

• A strong ISD background with over 4 years of experience focused on course design and development, including multiple skills and systems with high and/or low-stakes assessments.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct a thorough Analysis as part of the overall ISD process.

• Skills in training measurement and evaluation are regarded as a plus.

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.

• Experience with risk analysis.

• Strong analytical, collaborative, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills are necessary.

• At least 2 years of call center experience, particularly with metrics such as AHT, ATT, CSAT, QA, and Sales.

• Experience with Blended Learning Environments including Synchronous virtual, Asynchronous virtual, and a Combination of both.

• Familiarity with one or more LMS systems that incorporate online collaboration tools.

• High-level consulting skills in Instructional Design.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, web authoring tools, and virtual classroom delivery platforms such as Adobe and/or Blackboard.
