Project Manager – Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee numerous AssetWorks GPS implementation projects from the initiation phase to successful go-live.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, risks, action items, budgets, and status updates.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process.

• Collect and document business requirements while configuring AW GPS solutions accordingly.

• Coordinate the installation of GPS hardware, activate devices, and manage deployment logistics.

• Provide installation training to clients, technicians, dealers, and installation partners.

• Conduct training sessions for administrators and end-users.

• Troubleshoot issues related to GPS and telematics hardware, connectivity, sensor integrations, and deployment challenges.

• Evaluate customer business processes and operational challenges to identify opportunities for product enhancements.

• Create feature requests, business requirements, and use cases for the Product Management and Engineering teams.

• Lead project meetings, stakeholder reviews, and executive status updates.

• Manage project risks, resolve issues, handle escalations, and process change requests.

• Assist with pilot deployments, large-scale rollouts, and optimization activities post-implementation.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, installation standards, training materials, and best practices for implementation.

• Ensure timely project delivery, adherence to scope, and attainment of customer satisfaction goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading software implementation or project delivery initiatives.

• Proficiency in managing project plans, timelines, risks, action items, budgets, and status reporting.

• Capability to gather and document business requirements effectively.

• Experience in configuring software solutions to align with customer operational needs.

• Skilled in coordinating GPS hardware installations, device activations, and deployment logistics.

• Familiarity with GPS hardware, wiring standards, troubleshooting procedures, connectivity, sensor integrations, and telematics.

• Ability to conduct installation, administrator, and end-user training sessions.

• Competence in developing feature requests, business requirements, and use cases.

• Ability to manage project risks, resolve issues, handle escalations, and process change requests efficiently.

• Experience in supporting pilot deployments, large-scale rollouts, and post-implementation optimization efforts.

• Willingness and capability to travel or collaborate with customers, technicians, dealers, and installation partners throughout North America.
