This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Utilize proven experience and success in project planning, control, and closure, along with effective stakeholder management and consensus building; necessitates comprehensive lifecycle project management/oversight expertise.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance and safeguard company interests.
• Collect all project-related documents, including proposals, customer requirements, equipment selection details, and internal specifications.
• Assemble the project team for the review, coordination, and execution of project requirements.
• Develop, modify, and manage project schedules and timelines based on contract stipulations and project progress to guarantee the attainment of desired outcomes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both external and internal customers regarding the project; assist in developing, facilitating, and managing project communications.
• Distribute all project-related information to the relevant team members.
• Facilitate the creation of project charters, business cases, and other pertinent project-related documents linked to milestones and deliverables.
• Responsible for maintaining issue and risk logs while facilitating issue resolution and risk mitigation, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate verification and release of all project deliverables.
• Manage the implementation of all project scope changes by effectively applying project management change processes.
• Assist with resource planning to ensure adequate staffing throughout all project phases, including post-installation.
• Monitor the project budget and provide feedback to relevant personnel for any significant variations.
• Forecast all project-related costs and expenditures.
• Process project-related invoicing, follow up to ensure timely payment, and reconcile as necessary.
• Prepare requisitions for all purchased goods and services.
• Generate all project reports for external and internal customers, including monthly percent complete reports for accounting purposes.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully fulfill the essential duties of the position.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in an original equipment design and manufacturing setting, preferably in OEM Manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial equipment engineering, design, and fabrication is advantageous.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and ERP software (preferably Microsoft Project and D365).
• Understanding of general contract terms and conditions.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents (blueprints, Process Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), specifications, data sheets, etc.).
• Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple, complex projects with competing priorities.
• Strong client management skills with the capacity to establish, build, and maintain relationships.
• Effective time management and logical decision-making abilities.
