This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Support the development and engineering of qualified projects during the RFP/RFQ phase.
• Supervise onsite project operations for individual projects ranging from small to large scale.
• Provide project-level leadership by guiding the Owner, Architect, Engineer, and Subcontractor team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Proactively manage risks with the help of the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) by prioritizing tasks to mitigate or eliminate risks.
• Oversee the budgeting process by regularly updating the necessary work to be completed and reporting projections and forecasts to the RCL monthly.
• Lead and manage the logistics of the project, which includes setup and planning, schedule management, materials and supplies, and quality control.
• Direct and manage subcontractors, coordinating and participating in meetings while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Ensure that work is completed within budget, ahead of schedule, and according to specifications.
• Provide timely input on project schedules for resource planning.
• Deliver required closeout documentation, including commissioning documents, as-built drawings, operations and maintenance manuals, acceptance signoffs, and warranty letters.
• Completion of two (2) years of technical school.
• Four (4) years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience with strong computer skills.
• Experience in managing trade-related construction.
• Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines, deliverables, and other requirements.
• Familiarity with and basic understanding of Veregy’s products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to perform arithmetic operations with money; and operations with units such as inches, feet, yards, ounces, pounds, or metric equivalents.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
