This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead the planning and execution of a project; facilitate the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables; and outline project tasks and resource requirements.
• Support the strategic planning of various health care databases by developing and implementing effective strategies for state-level health data collection, release, and analysis.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans for multiple concurrent projects.
• Responsible for documenting project specifics and tracking action items, issues, and risks until completion, as well as establishing communication plans, facilitating schedule creation, and archiving all project documentation for timely retrieval.
• Implement budget management, planning, and process optimization.
• Ensure a reliable flow of information and the successful execution of project activities.
• Provide technical support in project-related areas, such as requirements gathering, portal training, and compliance activities.
• Manage project resource allocation, plan and schedule project timelines, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Offer direction and support to the project team; ensure quality assurance; monitor and report on project progress to all community partners.
• Present reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Implement and oversee project changes and interventions to achieve desired project outcomes.
• Evaluate and assess project results.
• Manage the work of subcontractors and consultants.
• Build, develop, and nurture relationships essential for the project's success.
• Assist in identifying resource needs and align the assigned project team with project scope.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of related experience is required.
• Knowledge of or interest in U.S. health care policy, the role of state government in health care, multi-payer databases, public health care payers, claims processing, and/or claims data analytics.
• Clear and direct communication skills, including the ability to articulate ideas, concepts, thoughts, and perspectives concisely – both verbally and in writing – to various internal and external audiences at different organizational levels.
• Highly proficient in collaborating with project end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high-quality deliverables and services.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with computer software and hardware, including relevant programs and applications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of information technology concepts and processes.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute project tasks in a high-pressure and visible environment.
