This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for large and intricate cross-functional projects, from initial business case through to closure and retrospective analysis.
• Oversee project management for significant, time-sensitive mobilizations while maintaining an adaptable mobilization playbook.
• Direct complex client-facing project and event launches, subsequently transitioning ongoing execution responsibilities to the account manager.
• Develop and enhance PMO standards, which include project charters, status reports, risk and issue logs, governance rhythms, and intake procedures.
• Create business cases and project charters that outline project scope, success criteria, resource allocations, and timelines.
• Hold cross-functional partners accountable for their deliverables and deadlines.
• Lead change management initiatives, foster adoption, and address resistance effectively.
• Strategize and manage schedules, dependencies, critical paths, and resource conflicts across multiple concurrent projects.
• Identify potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, executive steering committees, and cross-functional workstreams.
• Maintain project ledgers, tracking tools, RAID logs, and RACI charts; provide briefings to leadership as necessary.
• Monitor project budgets and highlight any discrepancies.
• Implement Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery.
• Develop SOPs, guides, and training resources.
• Contribute to the long-term PMO strategy and operational framework.
• Collaborate with teams across Enterprise Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal, and client-facing departments.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management.
• Proven ability to establish new programs, processes, or systems in ambiguous or undefined settings.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects that involve technology/system implementations, client-facing initiatives, and internal process or operational transformations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or contributing to large-scale client-facing program launches or critical, time-sensitive mobilizations.
• Experienced in managing change for process or system transitions.
• Proven track record of writing funded and executed business cases and project charters.
• History of holding stakeholders accountable and driving results without formal authority.
• Excellent meeting facilitation and executive communication abilities.
• Familiarity with risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Experience in managing or tracking project budgets and reporting any variances.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in creating SOPs, process documentation, or training materials.
• A proactive approach and comfort in making progress with incomplete information.
• PMP, CAPM, or a similar project management certification is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or Agile/Scrum certification is preferred.
• Experience in a rapidly growing technology, marketplace, logistics, or transportation sector is a plus.
