Project Manager – Data Centres

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct all stages of project development, encompassing initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Foster effective communication and collaboration among engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams.

• Identify potential risks to project timelines and quality, and formulate risk management strategies to address them.

• Engage with clients and relevant stakeholders to gather detailed project briefs and clarify specific requirements, ensuring technical feasibility.

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the seamless execution of one or multiple projects.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery.

• Monitor and track progress while managing any changes that arise.

• Oversee project budgets to ensure that costs remain within established limits.

• Regular travel to client meetings or Data Centre construction sites will be necessary.

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, leading and delivering complex projects successfully.

• Exceptional client-facing abilities and strong interpersonal/communication skills, with proficient written and verbal communication to foster relationships at all levels.

• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and the capacity to multitask.

• A proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or Data Centres and/or the construction site ecosystem.

• Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities will also be beneficial.

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Over 3 years of experience in project management, ideally within the HVAC, construction, or a related manufacturing sector.
