This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Direct and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion.
β’ Oversee Project Superintendents along with multiple crews and projects.
β’ Ensure all projects align with specifications, timelines, budgets, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.
β’ Assess manpower, equipment, and material needs while staying within budget constraints.
β’ Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with work quality and contract terms.
β’ Monitor project progress and generate comprehensive reports.
β’ Organize and schedule projects to maximize efficiency and quality.
β’ Liaise with clients regarding budget management, scheduling, and quantity tracking.
β’ Assist superintendents with project requirements, manpower organization, and daily field operations.
β’ Manage contract modifications, additions, and compliance by all involved parties.
β’ Work collaboratively with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, engineers, and Project Engineers to address challenges.
β’ Handle responses to delays, adverse weather, emergencies, and other jobsite challenges.
β’ Foster and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and other project stakeholders.
β’ Conduct project and budget monitoring.
β’ Issue and manage One Calls.
β’ Submit and track Submittals and RFIs to ensure project compliance.
β’ Collaborate with the Project Engineer on specifications, Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Quantity Tracking.
β’ Participate in crew scheduling and assess manpower requirements.
β’ Provide work-in-progress updates and strategic forecasts to the Director of Project Management.
β’ Prepare and confirm accurate monthly billing alongside the Director of Project Management.
β’ Utilize or maintain proficiency in Topcon/Trimble GPS technology.
β’ 3-5 years of experience in the civil sector.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
β’ Experience with Procore is preferred.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
β’ Capability to adapt and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
β’ Ability to make informed and swift decisions, managing well under pressure and when faced with unforeseen circumstances or delays.
β’ Competence in multitasking while analyzing and resolving issues.
β’ Strong grasp of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
β’ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
β’ Professional demeanor in all situations.
β’ Team-oriented with demonstrated leadership qualities.
β’ Comfort in delegating tasks effectively.
β’ Proficient in both spoken and written English is essential.
β’ Must be capable of traversing and inspecting all jobsite areas in various weather conditions.
β’ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel 100% within the central United States.
β’ Must be available on-call to manage delays, emergencies, adverse weather, and other jobsite issues.
β’ Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening is required.
