This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The ALTA Project Manager will oversee project management activities, encompassing client interactions, scope formulation, execution planning, and quality assurance for ALTA surveying in Texas.
• Key responsibilities involve coordinating and communicating final boundary determinations, legal descriptions, data reduction, and managing all facets of project execution.
• Lead and steer ALTA survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables align with client expectations and adhere to industry standards.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit Leader to initiate new projects, define their scope, and establish timelines.
• Maintain timely and precise communication with clients to report on project progress, address concerns, and facilitate seamless project execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Field Operations, Survey Technicians, and the drafting team, resolving any project-related issues and ensuring clarity in scope.
• Attend and engage in weekly project meetings, tracking milestones and deadlines using SurveySTARS.
• Conduct final reviews and validations of survey data, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with title commitments, utility plans, lender specifications, and client requirements.
• Supervise QA/QC processes to uphold high standards in legal descriptions, survey documents, and deliverables.
• Maintain thorough project records, manage time tracking, and ensure financial coordination with accounting for accurate billing.
• Ensure the prompt delivery of survey data and relevant files to clients, keeping track of all revisions, modifications, and requests for additional information.
• Comply with Exacta’s policies, procedures, and work directives, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
• Proactively identify and address project challenges, fostering professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Exhibit a strong commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence.
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Survey-related studies from an accredited institution.
• Over 2 years of project management experience in the surveying sector, with a preference for a focus on ALTA surveys.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Texas preferred (or interest/ability to obtain certification upon employment).
• Proficiency in CAD, Carlson OEM, Civil 3D, and Trimble Business Center.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines and surpass client expectations.
• Experience with cloud-based project management tools for tracking and coordination.
• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain appropriate automobile insurance.
