This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and monitor all stages of projects to guarantee that final products are delivered complete, punctually, and within budget constraints.
• Convey project updates and requirements to clients and all RMS departments.
• Organize both electronic and physical project folders for every project.
• Examine and confirm project kickoff documentation, communicating any discrepancies to the Commercial team.
• Manage project modifications, additional requests, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with marketing and sales.
• Analyze project scope and schedule engineering deliverables, including blueprints, inspections, work instructions, and reports.
• Facilitate and coordinate communication between the shop, clients, and suppliers.
• Create drawing lists with required dates; monitor drawing progress and assess completed drawings.
• Draft work orders and requisitions based on drawings and work instructions.
• Assign material traceability numbers and purchase order identifiers.
• Prepare and track purchasing requisitions from placement of orders to delivery.
• Support communication between vendors, RMS, the shop, engineering, drafting, purchasing, and clients.
• Generate cost impact forms, final shipping request documents, project invoice requests, payment schedules, and percent-complete reports.
• Monitor work order advancement and assist the shop in establishing project priorities.
• Review project payment conditions and identify billable shipping expenses.
• Introduce the project manager to clients upon receiving purchase orders and keep clients informed about project progress.
• Evaluate deliverables and invoices with clients.
• Coordinate customer witnessing and hold points throughout the projects.
• At least 5 years of project management experience is essential, preferably in manufacturing or with rotating equipment.
• Outstanding ability to multitask, prioritize, and effectively manage time and resources.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities.
• Adaptability to changing schedules is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with JobBoss is preferred.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A minimum expectation of 40 hours per week; additional hours, including evenings or weekends, may be necessary based on project demands.
• Participation in company random or customer-specific drug and alcohol screening and background checks may be required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check.
• Proficient in understanding, reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capability to lift 30 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• May need to fulfill government contract requirements for specific assignments.
