This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee title performance, focusing on publishing timelines, key milestones, author satisfaction, and TR satisfaction.
• Ensure that projects align with the Time to Market deadlines established by the Portfolio Directors.
• Improve author and TR satisfaction while refining their experience, all while adhering to publishing schedules and maximizing commercial success.
• Apply advanced project management methodologies to boost productivity and project timelines. Continuously assess project processes to identify risks and streamline publications, ensuring consistent adherence to high-quality standards.
• Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, including authors, publishing colleagues, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Address and resolve issues, managing and mitigating risks as needed to keep authors, TRs, and book teams on track.
• Uphold the integrity of processes and best practices at every stage of the publishing project.
• Manage or escalate conflicts related to deadlines, processes, and quality when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a preference for technical fields.
• Over 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the publishing industry or a related area.
• Outstanding organizational and technological skills, proficient in utilizing modern project management tools and methodologies, alongside strong mentoring and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the latest Project Management tools and practices will be considered an advantage.
