Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for technical IT projects, overseeing them from initiation to delivery and handover, particularly in the areas of Data & Analytics, BI, Web Development, and Data Platform.

• Convert business requirements into a well-defined delivery scope, set priorities, and devise practical solutions that enhance business value within the established budget and contract limits.

• Manage delivery priorities, which includes determining what will be developed, what will not, and the sequence of tasks.

• Oversee scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, and technical delivery challenges in alignment with agreed business goals.

• Collaborate with clients regarding priorities, scope, trade-offs, risks, and solution direction; facilitate client-facing meetings and convey progress effectively.

• Work closely with technical teams, such as data engineers, developers, architects, and business analysts, to eliminate obstacles and foster problem resolution.

• Lead or assist in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation, effective knowledge management, and capture lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing technical IT projects within Data & Analytics, BI, Web Development, Data Platforms, or related fields.

• Experience in merging Project Manager and Product Owner roles, which includes backlog management, prioritization, acceptance criteria, and making value-driven decisions.

• Strong ownership mentality, customer-centric approach, and the capability to proactively address issues.

• Ability to translate business needs into a clear delivery scope and steer practical, results-focused solutions.

• Experience in project planning, monitoring, controlling, reporting, and stakeholder engagement in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

• Capability to evaluate scope modifications, comprehend delivery implications, and clearly communicate recommendations.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the bridging of business and technical stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.

• Proficient in English, both in spoken and written form.
