Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversees the planning and execution of various technical workstreams that support the client’s software product engineering initiative.

• Involves project planning, schedule management, coordination of dependencies, and ensuring onboarding readiness while managing change control.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining project plans that encompass activities, assignments, milestones, dependencies, delivery estimates, and project status updates.

• Coordinates project kickoffs, action items, schedules for data collection, onboarding tasks, resource readiness, access dependencies, and transition activities.

• Manages risks, issues, changes, dependencies, deviations, stakeholder communications, and follow-up on escalations.

• Aids in workstream validation and alignment activities that cover scope, volumes, assumptions, resource requirements, skills alignment, operational conditions, and technical dependencies.

• Collaborates with technical leads, software engineers, cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, test engineers, support teams, delivery managers, and customer contacts.

• Prepares status reports detailing completed activities, upcoming work, issues, concerns, recommendations, milestones, and other key delivery items.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SCRUM or Project Management methodologies.

• Possesses basic IT knowledge, particularly in architecture.

• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.

• Embraces teamwork with a “one team” philosophy.

• Familiarity with MS Project or other project management software is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are preferred.

• Capable of confidently interacting with stakeholders at all levels is preferred.
