• Oversee the daily operations of the production support team (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
• Collaborate with the customer project manager to create a production support schedule for weekend and evening shifts.
• Partner with the US Court’s National Support Desk (NSD) to prioritize and channel critical issues for the T2/T3 team.
• Organize and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies, including daily standups, Sprint Planning/Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Evaluate internal business processes and methodologies to suggest process engineering or re-engineering for enhanced efficiency, growth, and transformation.
• Maintain JIRA and other information tools for the teams.
• Empower the team to become self-organizing and self-managing to meet their objectives.
• Inspire teams to perform and ensure that all members take collective responsibility for production support tasks (root cause analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.).
• Identify, address, and communicate project risks, dependencies, and team obstacles.
• Ensure the team’s “definition of done” is clearly established at the story, sprint, and release levels.
• Promote productivity through discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Protect the team from external disruptions.
• Assist with both internal and external communication while enhancing transparency.
• Create a trusting and secure environment where issues can be raised with a focus on problem-solving.
• Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement and suggest modifications to established delivery practices.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including customers.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years (5+) of experience in an Agile development environment.
• Availability for on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
• Experience in supporting Java-based applications in a production setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects and thriving in a fast-paced environment that often requires multitasking.
• Capability to create, maintain, and enhance team dynamics and collaboration.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP).
• Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
• Energetic, goal-oriented, proactive, innovative, diligent, and patient.
• Optional: Experience working in federal or state courts is a plus.
