Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer-service medical imaging project management for X-Ray/DR implementations and complete construction at client locations.

• Engage in pre-sales initiatives, which include site evaluations and risk assessments.

• Take ownership of the entire implementation lifecycle following the sales order, from order review to site preparation, delivery, installation, calibration, training, and go-live.

• Utilize expertise in X-ray suite design, patient workflow, sales consulting, construction management, and installation planning to guide X-ray/DR implementations.

• Supervise construction progress and coordinate electrical, mechanical, and structural tasks.

• Resolve site-readiness challenges.

• Collaborate with hospital facilities, general contractors, architects, sales, service, manufacturing, and applications teams.

• Manage timelines, risks, and multiple simultaneous projects.

• Propel revenue recognition through timely and high-quality installations.

• Oversee project delivery milestones, timelines, and overall execution during complete implementations.

• Execute projects that vary from small outpatient clinics to extensive multi-room implementations in major teaching institutions, including retrofit, new construction, and turnkey projects.

• Act as the primary point of contact and project representative for both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Construction Project Management.

• At least 7 years of proven project management experience, ideally in medical devices and healthcare settings.

• Clinical experience in radiography or medical imaging.

• Strong knowledge of digital radiographic X-ray systems, PACS, networking, and clinical workflows.

• Ability to collaborate with contractors, facilities teams, and internal Carestream resources.

• Capacity to clearly communicate site requirements to all trades involved.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints; CAD knowledge is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and multi-project management abilities.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and handling competing priorities.

• Strong customer-facing skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel.

• Background in turnkey development, management, and implementation.

• Disciplined in forecasting, funnel management, and time management.

• Familiarity with radiology and clinical workflows.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the region by air and car, approximately 50–80% of the time.

• Capability to fulfill specified physical requirements, including standing, walking, sitting, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and carrying/pushing/pulling.
