Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects.

• Tasked with managing projects according to defined scope and contractual obligations.

• Takes initiative to lead and directly oversee all facets of project delivery, collaborating with matrixed partners to ensure successful completion and that project goals are met on time and within budget.

• Acts as a subject matter expert by regularly updating key stakeholders on various aspects of assigned initiatives.

• Consistently interacts and consults with all functions and levels of management to ensure effective ongoing communication across teams and stakeholders.

• Establishes and maintains crucial project documentation.

• Defines and tracks project milestones by creating, maintaining, and reporting on a comprehensive integrated project plan.

• Ensures projects comply with PMO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developing and maintaining necessary artifacts.

• Diligently manages scope to ensure commitments are fulfilled within agreed timelines, costs, and quality standards.

• Proactively identifies, anticipates, and manages project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.

• Publishes regular project status reports to ensure the overall direction and integrity of the project.

• Ensures that stakeholders are adequately consulted or engaged on key deliverables relevant to their functional areas.

• Leads weekly project team and periodic stakeholder meetings to assess and review progress with key participants.

• Monitors and manages project budgets for resource hours and internal costs.

• Actively collaborates across departments as needed to achieve project objectives.

• Suggests recommendations and adjustments to enhance project delivery and the PMO department.

• Effectively manages and prioritizes time to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ experience in managing software development and/or IT technology projects, or equivalent experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.

• Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or healthcare hub services industries.

• Management consulting experience is preferred.

• PMP or CAPM certification(s) are preferred.
