This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the primary contractor point of contact (POC) for all requests from the VHA and matters related to contractor performance, ensuring effective, timely, and professional communication between the contractor team and VA stakeholders.
• Oversee comprehensive program management activities, including planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing projects, in accordance with the task order's scope, schedule, and budget for the Office of Suicide Prevention Sprints.
• Create, maintain, and report on program management artifacts such as integrated master schedules, risk registers, status reports, and performance dashboards to keep VA leadership updated on progress and challenges.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, escalating critical matters to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and appropriate VA leadership as necessary.
• Facilitate coordination among cross-functional contractor staff and subcontractors involved in sprint-based delivery workstreams, ensuring alignment with VHA priorities, federal regulations, and contract performance standards.
• Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the program by monitoring the quality of deliverables, tracking action items to completion, and leading lessons-learned reviews at significant program milestones.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in successfully managing a large-scale program that includes multiple concurrent projects with lifecycle budgets and complexity similar to that of a federal task order.
• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, with preference for candidates who have experience in a major healthcare organization or a federal health agency such as the VA, DoD, or HHS.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential and successfully pass a background investigation as necessary for access to VA facilities and systems.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the requirement for current or future visa sponsorship.
• An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent credential of comparable quality (e.g., PgMP, FAC-P/PM, DAWIA PM) is required at the time of hire.
