πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Accountable for ensuring safety and effectively planning and coordinating assigned turbine repair projects.

β€’ Recruit, train, develop, and support a team of 8 to 12 technicians tasked with executing designated repair projects within their respective regional areas.

β€’ Ensure adherence to corporate safety standards and confirm that team members are adequately trained and comply with organizational policies.

β€’ Create and coordinate project plans for the assigned repair projects.

β€’ Communicate project plans and progress to both internal and external stakeholders, while also addressing any project-related issues with the relevant parties.

β€’ Assist the sales team with proposal development.

β€’ Provide feedback to the development team regarding necessary improvements to tooling, work instructions, and spare parts.

β€’ Identify and implement changes to team functions to enhance safety and efficiency.

β€’ Develop and mentor managers at Vestas service contract locations to effectively deliver turbine repair work that falls outside their service agreements.

β€’ Collaborate with the Resource Group to coordinate a team of technicians in a multi-project environment throughout North America.

β€’ Identify and establish key vendor relationships essential for executing project strategies.

β€’ Support organizational continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at minimizing defects in parts, repairs, and services.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ 3 - 5 years of experience as a project manager, project lead, or in another management role, ideally in a related service, industrial, or manufacturing environment.

β€’ Capability to build and nurture an effective team of technicians.

β€’ A general technical background with experience in developing repairs, tooling, and procedures.

β€’ Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

β€’ Experience in developing repairs, tooling, and procedures.

β€’ Valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel as necessary to achieve business objectives (up to 25% of the time).

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

β€’ Effective communication skills in English.
