This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the overall planning and execution of customer project activities within the Supply Chain.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on the timely delivery of manufactured components that meet quality standards and stay within budgetary constraints.
• Proactively identify and resolve manufacturing and supply chain project issues and anticipated challenges, escalating problems within the Product Delivery organization when necessary.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Managers and cost estimators to establish and maintain customer or region-specific product manufacturing cost estimates, inclusive of total delivery costs.
• Present the status of product manufacturing and procurement/delivery during periodic project review meetings, including earned value metrics, variance analysis, and other pertinent project information.
• Develop, manage, and enforce Supply Chain policies and procedures specific to Large Scale Deployment projects.
• Ensure that assigned projects adhere to established policies and procedures, confirming that procurement, statements of work, supplier project execution plans, and other relevant documentation are prepared and maintained.
• Facilitate necessary change documentation.
• Support project-specific manufacturing and project risk assessments, along with risk mitigation activities.
• Coordinate pre-project Supply Chain activities to support business development initiatives, including transportation, inspections, and storage as required.
• Manage Supply Chain project resources in a matrix environment concerning the planning, execution, control, monitoring, reporting, and closure of product manufacturing projects.
• Possess an understanding of construction practices, with experience managing projects during the engineering and construction execution phases.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide and coordinate oversight of NuScale contractors executing defined scopes on behalf of NuScale.
• Interface effectively with management levels of engineering and construction companies that support NuScale.
• Exhibit a strong aptitude for negotiating and managing contracts and contract modifications in a timely manner.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, project management, or a related field that involves a high degree of complexity and multiple interfaces.
• Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas: (1) manufacturing of nuclear components, (2) new nuclear project development, or (3) supply chain contract management.
