This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Evaluates the progress of projects and budgets; coordinates schedules and generates status reports.
β’ Identifies project challenges and formulates solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction targets.
β’ Creates systems for tracking project advancements and for intervention and problem-solving in collaboration with project managers, line managers, and clients.
β’ Manages and oversees the operational elements of ongoing projects, acting as a liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
β’ Aids in the creation of contract-required deliverables, including technical direction plans, rough order of magnitude pricing, and the management of the risk register.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with 7 years of relevant experience.
β’ At least 4 years of experience providing support for complex technical projects and/or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD).
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
β’ Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
β’ Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Solid understanding of tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a functionally diverse team.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
